About | Age 63 - Oswego - A Mass of Christian Burial for 63 year old Debra A. "Debbie" Hayes, a resident of 1394 County Route 53, Oswego, N.Y., will be held Monday at 11 a.m. At St. Andrew's Church in Norwood, N.Y. with Rev. Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood. Mrs. Hayes passed away Tuesday afternoon at SUNY Upstate Hospital in Syracuse surrounded by her family. Debbie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Kurt Hayes; Oswego; her three daughters, Nicole Hayes, Stephanie Hayes and her partner Alexis Crain, and Melissa Hayes, all of Oswego and her two beloved grandchildren, Treyse Miller and Greer Moore. Debbie is also survived by her sisters Janet Dlugolenski and Sharon Terzian, as well as several nieces and nephews and extended family. Debbie is pre-deceased by her parents George and Mary (Helen) Gorman Deugaw, her brothers Edward and Roger Deugaw, as well as her in-laws Francis and Eleanor Hayes, her brother in-laws Donald Dlugolenski, John Terzian, William Todd and a sister-in law, Joan Deugaw. Debbie was born in Potsdam ,NY on June 21, 1954, Debra graduated from Norwood-Norfolk High School and received an Associate's Degree from SUNY Canton ATC. She married Kurt B. Hayes on June 28, 1975. Debbie was a homemaker and enjoyed craft projects, especially card making and crocheting, Bunco and her family. She played the organ at St. Andrew's Church in Norwood in her high school years.
