About	Age 95, (Norwood Grade and NNCS 30+ years) - Rose Elizabeth Cawley Edwards, 95, of Watkinsville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was the only daughter of the late William Dennis Cawley and Mildred Robinson Cawley. Mrs. Edwards was a member of St. Stephens Anglican Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Loren E. Edwards, and younger brother William Cawley. Survivors include her children, Kirk and Christopher Edwards, and youngest brother, Russell Cawley. Mrs. Edwards resided in Potsdam, NY from the early 1940's through the late 1970's, where she was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She was an alumnus of Potsdam State Teachers College, (later S.U.N.Y. Potsdam) and taught kindergarten, and briefly 5th grade, then for 30 years at Norwood-Norfolk Central School. Her ashes will be interred in the Edwards family plot at Bayside Cemetery, Potsdam, NY.
