About	Age 73, (NNCS Cook) - Norwood - Graveside services for Frances margittay, 73, privately in Hale Cemetery, Norfolk. A celebration of life at the Norwood American Legion. Mrs. Margittay died Sep. 26, 2016 at the Canton Potsdam Hospital. Frances is survived by her husband, John P Margittay Sr., Norwood; three sons, Brian Bernard, Weedsort; Christopher Bernard, Norwood; John and Ann Margittay Jr., Norwood; her three daughters, Barbara Bernard, FL; Emily and Kevin Enslow, Norwood; Betsy Darabon and Robert Myers, Norwood; numerous grand and great grandchildren; nine siblings, Nelson, Tommy, Lola, Georgia, Loretta, Carolyn, Jean and Gail. Born in Potsdam on Sep. 5, 1943 to Francis and Justina LaBarge Hooper, Frances married John P Margittay on Jan. 14, 1971. She worked at NNCS as a cook, retiring in 2004 with 20 yrs. of service. Arrangements with the Buck Funeral Home in Norwood.
