About	Age 87, (NNCS - Custodian and Bus Driver) - Norfolk - The funeral for Walter Lister Warner, 87, Potsdam, formerly of Morris Street, was held at Buck Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard Lenz officiating. Burial was made in Bixby Cemetery. Mr. Warner died Wednesday morning at Community Nursing Home, Potsdam, where he had been a resident since February 1994. He operated a Norwood grocery store in the 1930s and was a custodian and bus driver with Norwood-Norfolk Central School until his retirement in 1973. He was a member of What Cheer Masonic Lodge 689 and the United Methodist Church, which he served as treasurer. Born June 14, 1909, in Norfolk, a son of Walter P. and Mabel Abernathy Warner, he was a graduate of Norfolk High School. He married Hilda Clark on Feb. 10, 1934, at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. D.W. McVeigh officiating. Surviving besides his wife are a son, Clark; a daughter, Mrs. Arlan (Diane) O'Connor; a brother, Merrill; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
