About	Age 56 - Richland - John Richards, Jr., 56, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2016. He graduated from Norwood-Norfolk High School in 1978. Before enlisting in the US Navy, he married the love of his life, Karen, in 1982. John enjoyed playing pitch, sharing a beer with friends, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need; but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. John was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was well known for his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Karen (Fraser) Richards; children, Jill (James) Gilman, Erica Pinzer, and Christopher (Kayla) Richards; grandchildren, Nyah, Aaliyah, Nathan, Logan, and Renee; siblings, Michael, Brian, Cheri, and Dawn; father, John Richards, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private.
