About	Age 72 - Norwood - Joseph L. Dufore, 72, died on June 2, 2016 of complications originating from Agent Orange exposure. He proudly served two volunteer tours of Vietnam as a Navy “Seabee” and photographer after graduating from Norwood-Norfolk Central. After putting himself through college and attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, California (1970) he embarked on a long career in the graphic arts, including work at a major Ventura County newspaper in image production, founding and operation of a printing business for many years and photography. Joseph's hobby of oil painting is shared with his granddaughter, Tessa. He is survived by daughter, Lee and son, Mason both of California; three grand children; Mason Jr., Kristine and Tessa; siblings, Daniel, Kim, Debbie and Lisa and many friends in the North Country. Joe was pre-deceased by beloved sisters, Sandy and Judy, mother Bernice Young-Dufore and father, Leo. His love of life, working hard and playing hard, ceaseless learning in varied disciplines such as boat and stone oven building, gourmet skills in the kitchen and conversations will be greatly missed. An informal celebration of life will be held at the Norwood American Legion, post 68, after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13 for friends and family.
