About | Age 55 - Massena - After a short illness, Mrs. Rinda A. Premo, 55, of 12 Madison Ave, peacefully passed away Thursday evening, February 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family and Hospice. Rinda was born February 9, 1960 in Massena, the daughter of the late George and Dorothy Ann Stewart Moniere. She attended Massena schools and graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School in 1979. She later attended Mater Dei College. On September 8, 1990, she married Kenneth F. Premo at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Jerry Bleaux, officiating. Rinda was a home health aide for Health Services of Northern New York and also worked at one time for the Highland Nursing Home and the ARC. She also worked for a short time at Arby. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Women of the Moose #1110. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, listening to her husband play music, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth; her daughters, Tara Solano and Terilynn Premo, both of NJ; her grandchildren, Izabella, Mackenzie, and Matthew; her sisters, Georgette and John Davis of Massena; Peggy Derochie of Massena; Sarah Moniere and Michele Komm, both of Washington; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her parents. Friends may call at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Mark R. Reilly, celebrating. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Constable. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory may be directed to St. Mary’s Catholic Church for masses for the repose of her soul or Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley. |
