About	Age 77 - Norfolk - A Mass of Christian Burial for 77 year old Avis L Haggett at the Church of the Visitation in Norfolk with Msgr. John Murphy presiding. Burial in the Visitation Cemetery. Avis is survived by her son, Fred and Sue Haggett, Liverpool; daughter, Karen Haggett, Norfolk; five grandchildren, Courtney, Morgan, Zackary, Caleb and Nate Haggett; sister Nina Molnar, Norfolk. Along with her husband, Lawrence, Avis was predeceased by a son Daniel Joseph and a daughter, Peggy Lynn. Born in Ogdensburg on Sep. 11, 1938 to Frederick M and Ruth McGlaughlin Lavigne, Avis graduated from Norwood Norfolk Central School in 1956 and married Lawrence Buddy Haggett on Aug. 2, 1958. She worked many years at the First National Bank of Norfolk,retiring as the Bank Manager. Arrangements with the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk.
