About	Age 61 - Columbia - Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, with military honors provided by the United States Army. Lee will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Lee was born October 31, 1952 in Massena, NY and was the son of Pierre Tessier and Evelyn Noreau Tessier. He served his country in the United States Army as a helicopter crew chief in Vietnam. Following his service overseas, he continued serving as a VA Rep in New York State. He held a lifetime membership as a Harley Davidson "H.O.G." and loved muscle cars and attending car shows. Lee enjoyed singing karaoke and had been a member of several country rock bands. He enjoyed travelling and camping, especially gem and gold mining in North Carolina and Georgia. However he had a special passion for being a husband, father and grandfather. Lee is survived by his wife: Lynn Tessier of Columbia; a son: Shane Tessier of Norfolk, NY; a daughter: Janel (D.J.) Colbert of Norwood, NY; step-son: Jason Kelley of Columbia; brother: Mark (Elaine) Tessier of Coreapolis, PA; sister: Gayle McKenty of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and his special cat: Crystal.
