About | Age 56 - Norfolk - Gary W. Bullock, 57, of 137 Brothers Road, passed away Sunday morning, April 13, 2014 at Fletcher-Allen Health Center after being taken there from Massena Memorial Hospital on Saturday. Gary was born September 11, 1956 in Massena, the son of the late Harry J. and Jane LaDue Bullock. He attended Norwood-Norfolk Central School and graduated from Canton High School and attended BOCES for auto technician. Gary honorably served his country in the US Army. On December 12, 1975, he married Beth A. Bentley at the Norfolk Wesleyan Church with Rev. Granger, officiating. Gary has been an auto technician his entire working career, most recently at Boutot Auto Sales in Massena. He had worked for various other agencies in the area. Gary had a great love for animals and enjoyed tinkering and puttering around the yard. He mostly just loved being outdoors doing or working on something. Perhaps his greatest enjoyment was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Beth; his children, Suzanne and Neuley Bissonette of Winthrop and Jason and Kimberly Bullock of Massena; Justin Bentley, who was like a son, of California; his grandchildren, Zackary, Emma, Seth, Kyle, and Kiley; and a great grandchild, Javin. Gary is also survived by his sister, Diane Bouchey and her companion, Don Sheppard of Norfolk; Sue and Ronnie Dubuque of St. Regis Falls; his brother, Kenneth R. and Sherry Bullock of Zephyrhills, Florida; father-in-law, Howard Bentley of Zephyrhills, Florida; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Bullock of Florida and Debbie Bentley of Chico, California; brothers-in-law, Mark Bentley and his companion, Shannon Demasi of San Diego, California and David Gesin and his companion, Lois of Williamstown, New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother, John R. Bullock; his mother-in-law, Virginia Bentley; brothers-in-law, Edward Wall and Joe Auerbach; and sisters-in-law, Judy Meegan and Suzanne Auerbach. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family on Saturday. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Massena Humane Society or the Richard E. Winter Cancer Treatment Center. |
