He was Plant Foreman for Standard Concrete in Tampa, FL. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Dennis was an avid golfer and fisherman. Survivors include his wife of six years, Luanne C. Jacobs; three daughters, Danielle Jacobs of Syracuse, NY, Amanda Burns of Duncan, SC, Victoria Jacobs of Boiling Springs, SC; a stepson, Thomas Krejaci of St. Petersburg, FL; stepdaughter, Christina Lumpkin of Spring Hill, FL; his mother, Jean Jeffery of New Port Richey, FL; three brothers, Lawrence Jacobs of Norfolk, NY, Andrew Clements of NM and David Jeffery of VT; three sisters, Vickie Trim of New Port Richey, FL, Cheryl Smutts of Albany, NY and Joanna Clements of New Port Richey, FL; three grandchildren, Bailiee and Travis Charland, Jr. of Syracuse, NY and Abigail Burns of Duncan, SC. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 6:30 PM at Curlew Hills Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Boys and Girls Club.
