About	Age 67 - Norfolk - Donald C. Ward, 67, died Saturday morning at Massena Memorial Hospital. Donald was employed by George P. Kennehan, Brasher Falls, Preston Riggs, Winthrop, and General Motors and Cornwall Brass and Iron, both in Massena. Born Feb. 27, 1939, in Norfolk, son of Kenneth and Margaret Mae Martin Ward, he attended Norwood-Norfolk Central School. He served in the Army from 1958 to 1962. A marriage to Joyce Deshane ended in divorce. Mr. Ward enjoyed playing lottery tickets, repairing small engines, playing cards and watching WWE wrestling. Surviving are five daughters and two sons-in-law, Marion Rookey, Tammy Quaife, Sue Ward, Cheryl and John Bullock and Sandra and Junior Niles; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Jr. and Angela, Delbert, Dale, and his companion, Kerry LeGrow, and Dan; five brothers, Leonard, Marvin, Richard, Arnold and Melvin; two sisters, Eva Sharlow and Doris Deshane; 26 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Kenneth Jr., and a sister, Joyce Ward, died before him. The funeral was held at Hammill Funeral Home, Winthrop, with the Rev. Roger W. Waldron officiating. Burial was in Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk.
