Age 48 - Norfolk - The funeral for Rodney A. Davey, 48, was held at the United Methodist Church, Norfolk, with the Rev. Thomas Jones officiating. The body will be cremated. Mr. Davey died Tuesday in Potsdam. He had been ill with diabetes. He was a millwright with Aluminum Company of America, Massena, and later was a self-employed millwright. Born March 30, 1955, in Union Springs, son of John and Thelma Daggett Davey, he was a 1973 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School. He married Jacqueline Peacock on April 19, 1975, at St. Andrew's Church with the Rev. John Wiley officiating. The marriage ended in divorce. Surviving besides his mother of Norfolk and his father of Massena are a daughter, Amanda Davey; two brothers, Raymond and Frank; and three sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Leann) Saxby, Mrs. Steve (Laura) Wright and Mrs. Mark (Elizabeth) Henshaw.
