About Age 19 - Madrid - A 19-year-old Norfolk woman was killed Sunday night when the car in which she was riding skidded off an icy curve and crashed into an oncoming vehicle in the township of Madrid. State Police said Mary Alice Laramy, 19, 54 High Street Norfolk, died of injuries she suffered in the two-car collision. The driver of the car, John Flack,20, Ogdensburg, suffered multiple internal injuries and severe cuts to the leg. He was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital and later transferred to Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse where he was listed Monday in serious condition. Beth Bergeron, 24, 44 State Street Madrid, the driver of the second car received minor injuries. She was treated and released from Canton-Potsdam Hospital, troopers said. State Police said no tickets were issued but the accident is still under investigation. Funeral services for Mary Alice Laramay will be Wednesday Dec. 1, 1982 at 11 a.m. at the Buck Funeral Home in Norfolk, Pastor Richard Sinclair of the Christian Fellowship Center, Madrid officiating. Burial will be in Bixby Cemetery, Norfolk. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home today, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A special memorial praise service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Christian Fellowship Center, Madrid. Miss Laramay was born Dec. 6,1962, in Potsdam, the daughter of Richard and Irene (Pircsuk) Laramay. Mary was a 1981 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School and attended Geneseo College. Mary is survived by her parents; three sisters; Mrs. Brian (Christine) Harrington, Potsdam; Mrs. Joseph (Nancy) O'Leary, Norfolk and Mrs.Scott (Diana) Plummer, South Daytona Beach, FA, three brothers; Michael, Kenneth and Thomas at home; nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center, Madrid.
