Age 19 - Norfolk - Funeral services for Shawn P. Mahoney, 19, of Apt. 10 K, Racquette Acres were held Monday at 10 a.m. al the Church of the Visitation with the Rev. John Wiley officiating. Burial was in Visitation Cemetery. Mr. Mahoney was killed Friday morning, Nov. 17, 1978, in an automobile accident on the Norfolk-Chamberlain's Corner's Road, Town of Potsdam. Surviving are his parents - Mr. and Mrs. James Mahoney, three brothers; Craig of Baltimore, MD, Tad of NJ, Shane of Potsdam, three sisters; Pana of FL, Dannette of FL, and Kelly of Potsdam; his paternal grandparents; Mr. and Mrs. James Mahoney. Shawn was born in Potsdam, Sept. 21, 1959, the son of James and Norma Bennett Mahoney. A 1977 graduate of Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Shawn participated in baseball and basketball. Shawn was employed as a brakeman for ConRail.
