Favorite School Memory	9/20/17: It's with deep sadness that I share that my father, Bill St.Laurent, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2017. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War - my photo is from 1951? He was the Norwood High School Music & Choral Director for 16 years until 1982. He was a life-long jazz pianist, arranger and writer. He performed throughout the New England area, including at the Cape Cod Melody Tent, for both opening acts and headliners like Sammy Davis, Jr. He continued to play professionally and directed the First Congregational Church choir until retiring in 2013. For those who knew him, he was a gifted teacher, musician, and friend. He was my mentor and one of the best friends that I ever had. In memory and celebration of his life, there will be a memorial service at the First Congregational Church, 100 Winter Street, Norwood, MA, on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. All are w...(read more)
