About Me	Moved to Florida, have been a practicing veterinarian since graduating from the Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980, served as a church organist at 4 different churches between 1984 and 2005, met and married my husband, Doug, an Air Force pilot in 1991, adopted a baby boy, Nathaniel, in 1994, was a part time associate professor of biological sciences at Okaloosa Walton College from 1993-1999, began a weekly newspaper column on pet advice, which I wrote from 1993-1999, served two years with the International Mission Board in Indonesia from 1999-2001, returned to Indonesia in 2005 to assist in tsunami disaster relief, raised two guide dog puppies for the blind, and sinc...(read more)
