| About Me | I have served in the army and have been in education for 46 years. I have served as a teacher, assistant principle and principle. I finished my career as a high school teacher and department chairman of social studies at Montville High School. I retired about three years ago and I am still adjusting to the retired life. My wife, Barbara, and I have been married for 46 years and currently spent part of our time in Stonington and part of our time in FL at Hallandale Beach, just south of Hollywood. I do a great deal of boating on Long Island sound where I fish, crab and clam throughout the summer. Barbara is a former kindergarten teacher and we met at Central State College in New Britain and we married after I got out of the service. We have one daughter who is a social worker in the Los Angeles School District and who lives with her husband in Long Beach, CA.
