Hello, my brother, Jack Stevens, of the 1960 graduation class. I believe it was the first class to graduate. He passed on July 5th, 2024 one day before his 82 birthday! I believe he was student body prez, and on the football team. He was proud to go to Norwalk High School. Anyone remember him? I have his purple sweater...with a gold N. I didn't know that was given out. Very cool and unraveling a bit. He died in Reno, and had a lot of health issues due in part to his time in the Viet Nam War where he was a Capt in the Marines as a pilot and then a helicopter.
I graduated in 1967 and I remember going into the office at that time and see his picture on the wall. I know he was staring at me!
We grew up on the corner of Crossdale and Rosecrans. We had the house that had a lot of cars go into the front of our house. What a wake up call! Poor bushes never stood a chance. Now there are LOVELY barriers! haha Hope to go back for a visit to a family member there soon. Lots of memories .....
