RON AND GAIL BARD

Class of 1955

After high school went to Fairfield U and then Fordham Law School. Started law practice with Jack Redway and later Matt Pugliese joined us.Earned a Master's Degree in Communications while in the Connecicut State Legislature from 1967-1975. Then left Connectict to serve three years at Cornell University as a Director of a Federally-Funded Project on Child Abuse and Family Matters. That led me to earn a PH.D.in Law, Public Policy and Legislative Practice at Union College. I became a born-again Christian while in Ithaca, N.Y and left there in 1978 to attend Denver Seminary in Colorado where I earned a Master's Degree in Christian Education.. For several years did some teaching and directing non-profits and then in 1982 my wife, Gail and I became Chaplains at Excelsior Youth Center in Denver where we have served thousands of emotionally abused teen-age girls for the last 32 years
