Retired Chief Petty Officer. Served aboard 3 nuclear powered submarines, 2 nuclear powered aircraft carriers, instructor at 2 NPTU sites and Naval Submarine School as a Nuclear trained Machinist Mate. Multiple deployments around the world.

Served 21 years as an intelligence officer in the USAF. Deployed immediately following 9/11, earned Bronze Star for locating Bin Laden and other Senior Al Q'aida leaders. Returned to Middle East in Feb '02, and was first AF intelligence officer deployed on the ground in Afghanistan. Served as 10th Mtn Division Deputy G-2. Led Air Component's Combat Operations Intelligence Cell for Operation Iraqi Freedom 3/02-5/02. Served as IADS Analysis Squadron Commander, National Air Intelligence Center 7/08-7/10. Assignments include: Wright Patterson AFB, OH; Spangdhalem AB, GE; Kelly AFB, TX; Shaw AFB, SC; Newport Naval Station, RI; and the Pentagon, Washington, DC.Graduate of USAF Weapons Instructor Course, 97A; College of Naval Command and Staff, 2004.
