| About Me | On a personal note, lucky enough to have a wonderful wife in Debbie and just as lucky to have two beautiful daughters. I've been married for 35 years (married June, 1983) and have two girls, Kristina – 33 and Kellie - 31. Both have graduated from college, Kristina from Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2008 with a degree in Nursing. And Kellie graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 with a degree in Education. Kristina is working at a local hospital as a Labor and Delivery nurse and Kellie is the campus Math Coordinator at a local high school. Both are also married we have one grandson from Kristina. Both have great husbands. Kristina’s husband is a Dentist and Kellie’s husband is a Project Manager. We currently live in McKinney, Texas (moved here in 1990 due to job relocation). McKinney is about 25 north of Dallas. Life is good here and all is well within the Scott family. Hope all is well with you and your family. On the professional side, currently an Executive Director within an IT Technology organization at XO Communications (Telecom company). I’ve worked at three companies in my career; Kiplinger Magazine (1978-1984), MCI (1984 – 2000) and now at XO Communications (2000 – Present). All positions within the Information Technology field (both staff and management). On the professional achievement note; I managed a team that developed a software application that won Best in Show at Comdex (1999), and was a guest speaker at the Sun Microsystem Java One Conference in San Francisco (1999).
