About Me	Went to Concordia Lutheran, then on to public school and Northwestern. After Northwestern, I went to PGCC, and Maryland. I married in 1970 and moved first to Wheaton, and then Gaithersburg. In Gaithersburg I became the group home parent for teenage boys called “Joint Venture Home.” In 1975 we moved back to Adelphi, where I live today, bringing the boys with us. So.. now being 74, my oldest son is 65!! I was active here in my community, as President of the Langley Hampshire Civic Association for 12 years. During that time, I was named Volunteer of the Year for MNCPPC, and Prince Georgian of the year from PG County both in 1984. I kept active with foster care during all that time, and went on to adopt 2 girls from the Foster Care System. Angie is 41 now, and lives in Myrtle Beach. Ashley is 36, and lives with me here in Adelphi. Although I was married twice, both have passed away. I have been on my own since 2018. I suffer from severe arthritis, but just got my left knee completely replaced, and will be scheduled for right knee surgery when left is healed later this year. I was given a surgery for a Spinal Core Stimulator to relieve chronic pain, but I should not have had to get that surgery when the Pain Management Doctor knew I was scheduled for Knee Replacements. Now I need to Ed to figure out what to do about it. recoveries, I am looking forward to being more active in my future with new knees! I worked in the PG Co School system teaching Kindergarten until 2002, then I quit to work in the remodeling trade with my second husband. I love remodeling! Throughout my whole life I have always been active with kids and animals! I still do Feral Cat Rescue, and have many cats living with me now, which was NOT the original plan!! We also have a 168lb Newfoundland dog. So, I'm really never alone! I still see good friends from Northwestern, some weekly, and some every few months. I love my time spent with old friends.
