After attending Northwest for seven years, I thought I had done pretty much all I could do, and I was wrong. From 8th grade on I was a member of the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra with many other Northwest students. This was only possible through the cultivation of my abilities at Northwest.
In my last year at Northwest, the CSYO announced that we would be performing, that summer, at Carnegie Hall in New York. It required a lot of hard work and dedication, but being able to perform on that stage was indescribable. I couldn't help but think at some point sitting on that stage, that this was in no small part possible because of Northwest.
