Events	Michael Sheridan Leffingwell of Coppell, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2025, after a well-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on April 26, 1965, Mike was the son of Michael Sheridan Leffingwell Sr. and Barbara Conger Leffingwell. Growing up in Rhome, Texas, Mike went to school at Northwest High School and then went on to study journalism and psychology at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. His time at Texas State was one that he treasured, making lifelong friends, including his fraternity brothers. After completing several years of working in sales, the Leffingwell family had a personal challenge that allowed the family to regroup and gave Mike the opportunity to use his Masters Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University. He then went on to pursue his dream and passion of being a psychology professor and a Licensed Professional Therapist with ETT (Emotional Transformation Therapy). Helping many people through his classroom at Tarrant County College and through therapy practice, Mike made an impact on every person he came across. From watching the Dallas Cowboys to cooking meals to hanging out with friends, Mike loved life — especially when he got to enjoy it with his favorite drink in hand. Mike is survived by his wife, Cathy; his children, Christian (Payton), Kelsey, and Cooper; his mother, Barbara; his sister, Candy Bindley (Sean), and their sons, Sean and Niklas; his brother, Scott Leffingwell (Meredith), and their daughter, Faith. Mike is preceded in death by his father Michael Sheridan Leffingwell Sr. A church service celebrating his life will be held at First United Methodist Church Coppell on August 22nd 2025 at 2pm.
