About Me	I was born in SC but age 6, my parents moved to NC due to my grandfather's death. I went to Northwest High School and then to Rockingham Community College. Shortly after, my life started it's whirlwind. In December 1998, my brother lost his battle to AIDS. 2 months later, my first partner and I of 4 years split up. A few months later, my brother's cat which I adopted passed away. Life continued with twists as my uncle passed away due to cancer, both grandmothers died, and then in October 2001, both of my parents were taken from me. I moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2003 to start a new life. I have worked in insurance since 1997. I have worked for Aetna/US Healthcare, Valueoptiions/TRICARE, and in May 2011, I accepted a job with another company. Out of anything in life, the one thing that was total happiness to me was Frisky Brown. I adopted him when he was 6 weeks old and was with him all the way to his final breath on May 7, 2011. Who knew you could become so attached to an animal. Frisky was my son, and a purr-fect son at that. I go to bed every night hoping he knows I just loved him so much and hurt me to see him get sicker and sicker every day. I hope he is rested and there is not a moment that goes by that I don't have him in my heart. In August 2011, I adopted Oliver Maxwell Brown. He was born on 6/25/2011 and had some problems as a puppy but slowly getting better. I do love him but he still does not fill that void of Frisky. In April 2012, I left Jacksonville, Florida and moved for work. I continued working in managed care until March 2013 as I wanted a change. I worked during Spring Break at a beach front motel and maintained a second job at Winn Dixie. At the end of June 2013, I moved back to Jacksonville, Fl. Life has given me many ups and downs and challenges but I will fight and survive.
