About Me	"Hello all. Hope life has been good to you. I've been blessed to have a full life including raising my 3 children and 11 grandchildren. Since high school, I received a degree in mechanical engineering then worked until retiring in 2019 as an automotive chassis components design/development engineer and as a product quality engineer. Along the way, I've deepened my faith studying Education for Ministry for 2 years and 7 years studying the Bible through Bible Study Fellowship. Wonderful programs. I had the opportunity to spent time in Haiti and support a children's ministry there. That was very eye opening! Keeping busy in retirement with family, my home and yard, a bit of traveling and learning something new every day. Last year I had an opportunity to spend 9 days in Iceland. So rugged and beautiful! This year was 10 days traveling in Romania. Extra special because it took me within 200 miles of where my Korody grandparents immigrated from 120 years ago! Next year I have a trip planed to Newfoundland and Labrador. I've always had an interest in cars as far back as I can remember and had several nice car projects over the years. Probably my main hobby and the first car project in retirement is building a '76 Chevy Vega from an economy car into a muscle car. It continues to be an enjoyable, skills developing journey. I've met some great people along the way. Other hobbies include building and racing slot cars on my home track with friends and especially the grandchildren!
