About Me	After graduation I participated in the Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership, the only all-female Corps of Cadets, at Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia. I commissioned into the Navy through VMI's ROTC program as a Surface Warfare Officer in May 2009. In August 2009, I deployed to the Indian Ocean in support of counter-piracy operations. Upon returning home, I married Nelson Page in May 2010. Nelson is an Officer in the Army as a Civil Engineer and was stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia. The Navy moved me from Norfolk, Virginia to USS GETTYSBURG (CG 64) in Mayport, Florida. So now we live in Georgia and I commute 90 minutes to work one way in order to finally live with my husband.
