High School was a definite time for change in my life. I was always a good student through the years and the first year of Northside High was no different.
Then came a modular schedule that changes the way we learned altogether and I was not impressed. I was just frustrated by myself and I ended up failing at school for the first time.
It was a time when I decided to go in a different direction in my personal life and I went to a private school for a year and returned to a place called Northside High. I had been with many since elementary school and most of us in the new middle school. It was my home and I decided my friends and school was important again.
I won't say I was a perfect student but I was there and trying. LOL
I often saw Mrs Henderson and she was not easy on me. I knew the office well and often heard my name in the morning even though I was not aware of what I had done.
I have fond memories of Northside High and my youngest daughter graduated from here but she was a smarter and better representative of her High School. All A's throughout her middle and high school life. I am proud to be the parent of a Viking alumni ad well.
