| About Me | I have taught at East Noble, Oak Hill, Northfield, and Plymouth High Schools. I can't keep a job! Seriously, I have been working my way toward teaching and coaching in jobs that I would consider advances in terms of what I hoped to accomplish - although I must admit that my time as a teacher at Northfield may have been the most personally satisfying because of my fanily and friends. I now teach advanced speech and television broadcasting (no more English) and coach one of the largest and best speech and debate programs in the nation. After bringing Northfield's first team state championship to the school, I moved to Plymouth where we have won seven of the last eight state championships. I have had more than ten students win national championships, and I was fortunate enough to be named the 2007 National Coach of the Year. I have a 28 year-old former broadcasting student who will be directing a 4 hour mini-series for the A&E Network under the executive producer-ship of Steven Spielberg, another student acting on Pushing Daisies this season, and another student working on the Bonnie Hunt Show.
