Centennial Blankets for Sale

There are only 6 knit Centennial Blankets and 2 fleece blankets left for sale. These blankets commemorate the 100th anniversary of NC and will not be re-ordered. The funds from the sale benefit the 2009 Senior All-Nighter. The knit blankets are $40 and fleece are $25 and can be purchased by emailing Linda Emoto at ktleemoto@comcast.net.

Centennial Celebration

Fellow Alumni,

This year is the 100th anniversary of the opening of North Central High School. A centennial celebration is being planned by North Central High School.

Events scheduled to celebrate this memorable year are listed below.
• The Doll Shop, May 1-3 and May 7-9
• Alumni performance of The Doll Shop, May 3
Matinee performance @ 2:00 p.m. Evening performance @ 7:30 p.m.
April 14, tickets go on sale to Alumni only for May 3 performances – Sr. Citizen $6 – Adults $7.
• North Central’s entry in the Lilac Parade, May 17
• Graduation, June 7 @ 1:30 p.m.
• NC’s Centennial Football Game vs. East Valley, September 12 @ 5:30 p.m.
• The Centennial Open House for all past graduates, staff, and friends at NC, September 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Welcoming program @ 10:00 a.m. in the gym
• Alumni-Booster golf club tournament, September 13 @ 1:30 p.m. @ Down River Golf Course

Be part of the Wall of Memories by sending a self-addressed, stamped legal size envelope to North Central to share your most treasured memory. You will receive a postcard to write your treasured memory that can be returned to NC. Each card will be posted at the Centennial Celebration.

Centennial Blanket and Auction

The 2008 SAN Parent Group is selling 1908-2008 Centennial Blankets. You can purchase these at North Central in the bookroom from Kim Puckett or e-mail me at julie.heath@painehamblen.com.

I can also give you information regarding our fundraising dinner/ auction set for March 15, 2008, if you or anyone in your organization would be interested in attending. Tickets are $20 each/$160 for table of 8, and include a catered dinner and drinks, along with both live and silent auctions.

We are also seeking monetary donations, as well as donations of goods, services and/or gift certificates. The NC Senior All Nighter is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible for your business to the extent you are entitled.

Your contribution will help ensure a successful event, providing food, games, prizes and entertainment for our seniors the night of graduation. We would gratefully accept your donation by mail or we would be happy to come and pick it up. If you choose to mail it, please send to:
