About Me	Retired from the Bloomsburg University Police Department in 2008 with 31 years of service with the rank of Lieutenant. Served four years United States Air Force from 1969 till 1973 completed my enlistment with the rank of Staff Sgt. E 5 . Served one tour in South East Asia at Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai air base as a Jet Engine mechanic. Based on this skill I traveled all over South East Asia repairing battle damaged helicopters. My base was a starting point for many search and recovery missions for downed aircrews in Laos, and all over Vietnam. We also provided interdiction bombing of the Ho Chi Min Trail. The aircraft I worked on were CH3 and HH53 helicopters, OV10 Broncho, C123 K models, and C119 Gunships. I returned to the US to Langley Field in Virginia where I worked on C130 aircraft and traveled with them on many temporary assignments, Germany, England, Panama Canal zone, Alaska, Spain, Goose Bay Labrador and South America. My responsibility was to maintain mission ready aircraft to respond on short notice for military and humanitarian missions. My service was 4 years of excitement and it was an honor to have served.
