Richard C. "Poncho" Padula Jr., 24, of 222 S. Walnut St., Bath, died Sunday in Allen Township. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek attributed death to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Padula was a construction framer for J.L. Framing Inc., Coplay.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Richard C. Sr. and Lois (Moll) Padula of Northampton.
Survivors: Parents; sisters, Carol, wife of Thomas Schmoyer, and Cynthia, both of Bath, and paternal grandmother, Carolyn Padula of Stroudsburg. A brother Gregory died Thursday after he was overcome during a house fire at his home in Northampton.
Joint services for the brothers: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Bartholomew Funeral Home, 243 S. Walnut St., Bath. Call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
