Class of 1974

So, here I am, junior year at NHS, finally returning to school after a traumatic motorcycle accident that left me in a full cast on both my left leg and left arm. I had just reached the top floor(3rd) of the stairs with my crutches, when the fire alarms went off...and the masses started rushing at me! Totally unrehearsed, Michael Lee and Gerry Martin, each grabbed me under both arms and carried me down the 3 flights of stairs and planted me safely outside. Baldy said"you know, Bob, the stairs are not a safe place to be." Thanks Baldy.
