Senior year Roger and I did triple jump. I finished league and Roger Section record holder. Roger was a quiet guy with good insight. At 45th reunion he overheard me tell of insensitive freshman football coach who insulted me when he dropped me. Roger correctly ascertained it began my journey into medicine because I began to study more when I found I could not do sports. I had hoped to see him again and thank him. I now thank the good guy I knew as STRETCH, something he did well and taught me to do. I set many track records and one national record thanks to him. Bob Luke ‘61.
