About	PIEPER - James Jon Age 85, of North Tonawanda, passed away Tuesday evening August 6, 2019 at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport. Jim was born on July 17, 1934 in Wheatfield. He was the youngest child of Arthur and Ruth (nee Grawe). He was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda graduating from the North Tonawanda High School in 1953. Jim served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of the Niagara Aerospace Museum and the Vintage Aircraft Group, American Legion, Sikora Post 1322, and St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Retired from Durez in 1980 after 31 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane (nee Wescott); two sons Timothy of Melbourne, FL and David (Cathy) of Fairview Heights, IL; one daughter Lynda (Paul) Schultz of Grand Island, NY; five grandchildren, Jonathan and Jenna Pieper, and Emma, Laura and Rebecca Schultz; one sister-in-law Larene (Hall) Pieper, one-brother-in-law, Arthur (Chun) Wescott, and many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents and five sisters, Doris (Kenneth) Barnes, Betty (Clifford) Pohlman, Norma (Frank) Fill, Ruby (Franklin) Brosius, Marylin (Lloyd)(Kenneth) Brosius-Kerlin, and one brother, Robert Pieper.
