About	Peter Anthony Haber ( November 28, 1946 - October 01, 2017 ) “Pete” age 70 of Denver, CO, beloved husband of Lynita Blatchford Haber “Mimi”, passed away from natural causes on October 1, 2017. Pete was born November 28, 1946 and raised in upstate New York’s North Tonawanda. Peter had a successful career in the insurance industry. After graduating from State University College of New York at Buffalo, he began working for The Travelers Insurance Company where his promotions took him to Hartford, CT, Worcester, MA, Milwaukee, WI and Denver, CO. After his move to Denver, Pete became an owner in the Writer Insurance Agency for over a decade before joining US Life as Vice President of Group Sales. He retired in 2012. Pete was also an avid outdoorsman. Peter enjoyed golf, hunting and fly fishing. One highlight was Pete’s training and handling of the legendary Labrador Retriever, Emily. Ducks Unlimited and Trout Unlimited were his favorite charities. He is survived by Mimi, his sister, Pam, and his brother, Jack. Pete was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Jessie. Pete will be remembered by both his business associates and his avocational friends for his upbeat personality and an ability to generate a quick laugh. And always, Pete had a great story to tell.
