About	RAYMOND P. MALONE, POLICE DETECTIVE Services for Raymond P. Malone, a North Tonawanda police detective, will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 in Ascension Catholic Church, Robinson Street. Entombment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. Malone, 58, died Saturday (Sept. 22, 1990) in Glens Falls after being stricken while attending a police conference. He joined the Police Department in 1957 and was president of the Western New York Police Conference and a past president of the North Tonawanda Police Benevolent Association. He was a member of Ascension Church, American Legion Post 264, the Renaissance Club, Madonna Council Knights of Columbus 2535 and Live Hose 4. He was vice president of the North Tonawanda City Employees Federal Credit Union. Malone served with the U.S. Air Force from 1951-55. Survivors include his wife, the former Judith E. Mulligan; three sons, Peter J., Barry R. and Patrick T., all of North Tonawanda; two daughters, Sheila Steiner of Lancaster and Elayne M. Malone of North Tonawanda; four sisters, Violet Sheldon, Teresa DiBernardo and Mary Camarda, all of North Tonawanda, and Susan Giardino of Florida; three brothers, James Maloni of Niagara Falls, William of Florida and Frank of North Tonawanda and four grandchildren.
