About	BURD, Randall M. BURD - Randall M. Age 71, passed on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 as the result of a collision. Randall was born May 17, 1945 in North Tonawanda, NY to the late Elmer and Annette Burd. He is the youngest of two children and is survived by his loving brother James Burd, who resides with his wife and three children in New Jersey. Randall graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1964 and married his wife of almost 48 years, Margaret Burd (nee Cerio) in 1969. He will be dearly missed by Margaret, his two sons and their wives; Randy and Amber Burd (nee Smith); and Michael and Renee Burd (nee Bailey). Randall retired from Wegmans Food Markets almost a decade ago and enjoyed spending quality time with his loving family. Randall's grounded nature was revealed by how he appreciated the world through simple pleasures; hiking, metal detecting, participation in a church group, and playing with his five young grandchildren, Dylan, Lucian, Nathaniel, Natalie, and Jude. He also cherished spending time with his devoted niece, Sherry Sam and her family. Randall is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Randall had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. He is regarded by many as an example of honor and integrity. All those family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Randall are invited to a Memorial Church Service to celebrate his life at Saint Jude the Apostle Parish, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY 14120 at 10 AM on Friday, March 3, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations to Randall's favorite charity, Food Bank of WNY, may be made in his name.
