About	Alex D. ''Butch'' Slipko, 69, of Grand Island, NY, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on December 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Fred and Lottie R. (Nawrocki) Morgan. Butch attended local schools and was the owner of Future Tire on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY for many years. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline (Gaines) Slipko; children, Carla (Orazio) Slivano, Christopher (Heather) Slipko and Cassie (Mike) Weiss; grandchildren, Audrey, Elias, Cecilia, Faye, Julien and Mathis; siblings, Larry (Chris) Slipko, April (Joe) Gillis, Deborah (Aaron) Sherrer and Carol Slipko; step-siblings, Andy, Susan, Cindy, Billy and Ken; mother in-law, Faye (late Joseph) Grenga; brother and sisters-in-law, Larry (Diane) Gaines, Sheila (Jim) Forbess and Paula Masich; cousin, Paul Markovich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Nancy (Mark) Berger; and step-brother, Fred. Friends may call Thursday, November 15th from 4-8 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319-24th Street, corner of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. Funeral Services will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, November 16th at Niagara Community Church, 10500 Cayuga Drive (off Williams Road), Niagara Falls, NY 14304, with Pastor Brad Delp officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Community Bible Church Food Pantry.
