| About Me | In the early 70's I traveled a lot, lived in Latin America for several years. Came back to Oregon and settled in Eugene in 1975. Got Married in 1979 (still married). Started working as a radio operator on-board commercial cargo ships (non-military), oil tankers, etc in 1978. Started an electronic design and manufacturing business in 1985 and stopped going to sea in 1989. The business, MoTron Electronics, has grown and is doing well today. I have been doing a bit acting, on-camera and theater (you can see me in a recent Monaco Coach Web commercial at www.rvspyguys.com , I'm the shorter one, with the facial hair). I led a Spanish Bible study in the lane couty jail for about 12 years. My daughter, Melanie, is 22 (as of 2008) and also in theater pursuing a professional career. 2018 Update - My wife Carla of 32 years died of pancreatic cancer in 2011.
