| Favorite School Memory | Thge first year North Pole had a High school we were in the old Main Jr High building in Fairbanks and we were name the Patriots because it was the Bi-Centenniel year. I never was in the new High School that was built in North Pole the one that is the North Pole Jr High school now. at the end of the year I move back to Alabama. My Dad was the Police Chief while I live in North Pole and Jack Wright the owner of D-8 Construction was the Mayor. I was a member of Troop 42 Boy Scout . I loved wrestling and...(read more) |
| About Me | I left North Pole in the summer of 1976 and returned to Alabam after 8 years in Alaska and 7 years in North Pole. I recieved a scholarship to a private school to play footbal,baketball, run track and wrestle. I later attended Trpoy University and graduated. I went to work for the state of Alabama and worked as a law enforcement officer for 28 years. I jioned the Alabama Army National Guard and have served for 26 years 13 year on active duty for four combat tours in Afghanistan and Iraq in suport of the Golbal War on Terrorism. I am still employed at the same jobs. I returne to North Pole in 1980 and 1998 to visit and show my wife were I spent some good time of my life and at that Time I saw the old high scholl that was the Jr High and I then went and saw the new High school.
