Thomas L. Patten
Class of 1963
Mo. University Law School graduate and was admitted to the prestgious Law Review. Worked as assistant attorney general for the state until called into the army. He served in the Staff Judge Advocate Corps then returned to Washington D.C.and joined the law firm of Latham and Watkins. He became a partner of that firm which grew to be the largest in the country. His legal specialty was high profile white-collar cases and contract disputes with the federal government. He achieved many honors during his career as trial lawyer. He had a national reputation as a master of his craft and was admired by all..judges, clients, adversaries and colleagues for his courtroom savy.
