About Me	When I withdrew from North Penn after being suspended in my junior year, I moved to Florida where my dad had been transferred with the space program. I was able to enroll in school in time to take my finals and amazingly pass everything. I graduated from Titusville High and began working. After a year, my dad was transferred to the Mississippi Test Facility in Bay St. Louis and I went with him and got a summer job with General Electric. That fall, I enrolled at Mississippi State where I majored in Industrial Engineering. I was a co-op student, working for General Electric on the Apollo Program during alternating semesters.After graduation, I immediately began graduate school at Mississippi State and obtained my MS in Industrial Engineering. I then began working for General Electric in St. Petersburg Fl and was transferred to Gainesville Fl a year later. When I was offered a transfer to Schenectady, NY I decided that I never wanted to live up north again and that would be necessary if I stayed with General Electric. So, I left General Electric and accepted a position as an Instructor at Mississippi State, where I stayed for 3 years while completing all the requirements for a Ph.D. except my dissertation. I accepted a position as Industrial Engineering Manager for Sperry Vickers Corp (now Eaton Aerospace) in Jackson, MS where I stayed for 2 years and then began dental school at the University of MS School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, I worked as an Instructor there for 3 years while beginning my private practice in Jackson, where I have worked for almost 30 years, along with my wife Glenna as my office manager. In 2009, I was appointed by governor Haley Barbour to the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners. This affords me the opportunity to travel frequently to the Northeast to assist oth...(read more)
