About Me	PERSONAL: As a child, I was only happy during the five years that we spent on a farm in the back woods (Linneus) of Northern Maine in the 1950's. When we moved to Massachusetts my father became very physically and mentally abusive. I believe that accounts for why I was so shy around girls in High School. I was taught that I was never quite good enough. FAMILY: I married Carol Noyes in 1972. During this marriage I fathered three children, Susan, Karen and Pamela. I adopted Jack and Barbara, Carole's children from her previous marriage. We divorced in 1985. MILITARY: I enlisted in the USMCR in May, 1969. I spent a little over five years in the Marine Corps before being transferred to the Massachusetts Army National Guard by reason of being accepted into and Officer Commissioning Program (The Massachusetts Academy) in another branch of the service. I graduated as a Second Lieutenant in July 1975. Shortly thereafter I transferred to the Army Reserve where I remained for the remainder of my military service. During my commissioned service I was fortunate to have two company commands. Being a Company Commander is the most rewarding job in the Army. Subsequent to that I became a member of the Commanding General's Extended Staff and spent three years on active duty as a Captain. CIVILAIN CAREERS: My earliest career was in the electronics industry. I worked on military systems at Sanders Associates, conducted research at American Optical, and later became a manager at Digital Equipment Corporation. After that I worked as a paralegal for two Boston attorneys. My Final civilian career was as a Real Estate Broker. I did not renew my license in 2025 I now spend my time trading stoc...(read more)
