Man, What can I say... It was the 70's....He was a miss lead child...As many of us did in that era he grew-up!!! He out grew all his 70's ways ( well maybe some of them) and became the man not many of his teachers would ever have thought!!! He married, had a child of his own, and became a leader in life. ( Church, school system, Government, Boy Scouts) There are many of you now no beliving what you are reading, but It is true!!!! Howard lives in Greenville N.C. and has been married for 28 yrs. He has a son 18, that is going to ECU, studing Physics!!!! His wife is in education and will retire in Dec. 2009 with Pitt Co. Schools. Howard spends alot of his spare time helping young boys to grow to be productive men and not go down the same roads as he did. His biggest love other than his family is boy scouting. Howard was in scouting at Contentnea School as a 2nd to the 5th grader and what he learned must have stuck!!!He has lead some 200 boys through scouting and has had 12 to make Eagle Scout so far.. Not to bad!!! His other love is ECU football. He is allways at every home game. Tailgating and feeding about 100 people, including all the law inforcement on hand..He tells them each and everyone thank you for your service and this is the least I can do!!!! On a personal note I have know Howard for more than 45 years, I have seen him through every part of his life, whether or not he makes your wall of fame , He sure has made mine and alot of other peoples!!!!!! The photos that I sent were of Howard Gladson building bunk beds for the homeless shelter in Greenville N.C......The proof is in the Man and the photo!!!!!
