Commissioned in 1970 from Navy OCS, Newport, RI. After 30 years of active duty, I retired in 2000 as a Navy Captain. I was a member of the Naval Special Operations Community, a community involving diving & salvage; mine counter measures and explosive ordnance disposal. I worked another 13 years for Department of the Navy/Marine Corps as a senior member of the Defense Acquisition Workforce. Retired from all Federal service on 1 June 2015.
