Dropped out of URI after 2 years. Spent a summer bumming around in Europe in 73. Welding school at Groton sub yards. Met a nice No. Carolina girl in 77 and moved to Charlotte in 78. Worked as a Union President for a couple of terms then moved into QC engineering.spent most of the next 20 years in the valve and boiler systems business. Then moved on to designing g and building underwater remotely operated systems for the Navy. Retired in 2012 buy still did some contract stuff up until late 2016. Now Rita and I enjoy AAA baseball, gardening, drinking and working on our various hobbies. We have one son. Lives and works in the Baltimore area. Hope there is some sort of 50th planned. So we can all get together and tell tall stories, and probably do just plain old lies!!! If anyone sees Gerrie Fournier tell her I still remember as they cute chubbier girl who lived across from my Grandfather's summer house!
