About Me	My family moved away halfway thru my junior year so I am an unofficial alumnus of NKCHS. After graduating from Lafayette HS in Lexington, KY, I earned a BS in Animal Science from the College of Agriculture at the University of Kentucky. I was accepted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. I then earned my DVM there as well. Took over a mixed practice in Lexington, sold it to take a position at the U of K eventually becoming the University Veterinarian there. At 62, I accepted in Research Administration as Director of the Institutional Animal Care and Use. Retired there at age 67. Moved to a beautiful little suburb of Atlanta to enjoy retir...(read more)
