Enlisted in May 1980. Went to Great Lakes for boot camp. Millington, TN for AE A school. Assigned to Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Va. from Jan 81 thur 92. Worked on F-14 Tomcat. and worked in AIMD . Transfer to Naval Air Station Norfolk, Va 93 94 95 Sea Op Det assigned to the USS America CV - 66 made two six month deployments to the Med and Gulf. Tramsfered to Pax River 96 97 98 Strike Aircraft F/A-18 Hornet. Transfered to the USS Eisenhower CVN-69 99 and 00. AIMD Retired May 31st 2000

Joined the Army in 1990 went to Alaska for 3 years then to Ft Campbell KY for almost 3 years was active duty for 6 years then got out and went into the NC Army National Guard from 1996 till I retired in Dec 2011 did 2 tours to Iraq one in Aug 2004 to Oct 2005 and in Dec 2008 to Jan 2010 and 2 state side deployment one in 2001 to 2002 and border patrol mission Dec 2006 to June 2008

Although I listed the Air Force, my first four years was with the US Army. I was stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC and a member of the 82nd Airborne. I served as a Scout for the 1st 508th Infantry Battalion. I then joined the US Air Force and was stationed at Pope AFB, NC. I participated in the Invasion of Grenada, and deployed to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm. I also flew a few missions in South America. I was stationed at Incerlic AB, Turkey for 15 months. After I retired from the Air Force, Donna and I moved to Morehead City, NC. I am currently employed by the Department of the Navy @ Marine Corp Air Station Cherry Point , NC
